The Challenge

As a newly established firm, Kingwell Immigration Law wanted to build a strong brand identity and establish its presence in the immigration legal market. The goal was to build a brand that would not only resonate with current clients and employees, but also clearly articulate the firm’s value in the market and attract top talent.

Kingwell Immigration Law engaged Cubicle Fugitive to identify the firm’s competitive advantage and craft a comprehensive brand and client value proposition. The firm also required a new visual identity that would reflect its brand positioning and improve its visibility in the immigration law industry. This included the creation of visual assets and a logo that could be used across all communications and business collateral.

To launch the brand and visual identity and bolster ongoing marketing initiatives, the firm also required a visually impactful website that could house its expertise and professional content, testimonials, and media mentions. Cubicle Fugitive was tasked with designing and developing the new website and crafting branded content for the firm’s professional bios and expertise pages. The new brand and accompanying visuals were also rolled out across the firm’s social media accounts. 

The Engagement

Cubicle Fugitive played a crucial role in defining Kingwell Immigration Law’s brand positioning strategy. Through comprehensive research and well-defined recommendations, we identified the firm’s competitive advantage and assisted in the successful implementation of its brand and client value proposition.

When crafting the firm’s new visual identity, our team designed the firm’s logo, arranged a colour palette, and selected a font that embodied Kingwell Immigration Law’s client-centred approach to immigration law services. This visual brand was applied across new business collateral, including business cards and letterhead.

With a new brand positioning strategy and visual identity in place, Cubicle Fugitive designed and developed a professional website that seamlessly integrated these elements. The website highlighted the firm’s Canadian immigration services for corporate and individual clients, supporting their needs and driving firm growth.

Professional bios and expertise pages were then created for Kingwell Immigration Law’s website, effectively integrating the firm’s new brand voice and showcasing its dedication to exceptional client service. We also prepared a bio template with detailed guidelines to help the firm maintain consistency when drafting bios for future hires.

Finally, our team optimized the firm’s social media, writing the “about” sections for its LinkedIn and Facebook accounts and creating designs that aligned with the new visual identity, including a profile photo, branded profile banners, and post templates, to ensure brand consistency across all communications. Moreover, we helped establish engaging captions for the firm when posting to social media. 

The Strategy

Kingwell Immigration Law’s new logo creatively utilized negative space to stylize a “K” and “I,” with the lowercase “i” symbolizing the firm’s client-focused approach and the “K” visually representing dependable client support by appearing to protect the “i”. The sans-serif font and timeless black-and-white colour scheme, accented with hints of blue and pink, were strategically chosen to embody the firm’s modern and forward-thinking approach. This new visual identity was promptly implemented across business collateral, aiding in the swift establishment of the firm.

During the website development process, insights from our preliminary discovery phase enabled us to formulate a detailed plan for creating a user-friendly website that integrated creative design elements, brand content, and intuitive functionality to make critical immigration information easily accessible. The website included customized modules that efficiently organized the firm’s case studies, news mentions, and articles. As a new and growing firm, recruitment was an important element of the firm’s marketing initiatives; to support this, Cubicle Fugitive developed a “Join Us” page aimed at attracting potential new hires. To optimize these profiles, we conducted targeted social media research on competing Canadian immigration law firms to compile a list of keywords to infuse into the copy. The firm’s new visual identity was then applied across all social media designs to maintain a cohesive look and feel. The branded banners and post templates incorporated the newly established visual identity, including the colour scheme, font selection, and layouts, and the new logo was optimized for the firm’s profile photo.
