SV Law: Logo Design
Project
The new logo demonstrates stability and continuity at the firm. It is a bold and strong statement in all capital letters with a straightforward and easily recognizable design. By retaining the fonts and the distinct checkmark “V” that was a part of the old SmithValeriote Law Firm LLP logo, the SV Law logo signals that the firm’s foundation remains unaltered and the strength of its brand remains.
The logo uses a sans-serif font (i.e., it does not have extending features at the end of strokes) which gives it a modern, clean, simple, and uncluttered appearance.
Cubicle Fugitive also designed a logo for the firm’s Farm Law Practice Group - Ontario Farm Lawyers. The firm wanted to further promote their level of expertise, knowledge and commitment to the agricultural industry and by doing this decided to create their own firm logo and microsite. The logo is a derivative of the firm’s SV Law logo, with the iconic checkmark V used as the corn husk in the logo with the firm’s font and new tagline “excellence in the agricultural community”.
