The Morris Law Group (MLG): Logo Design

With the firm’s 50th Anniversary fast approaching, the Morris Law Group wanted to create an icon to pair with their established brand. Inspired by comics of yesteryear we created something that would symbolize the firm’s ability to take on the large insurance companies and defend their client’s rights – the iconic M.
We knew the firm needed a logo that would better represent their professionalism and caliber of service.
As part of this brand refresh, we also expanded upon the firm’s red and black colour palette to bring in some blue hues. We wanted to convey not only the strength of the firm, but also the compassion and comfort they provide.
When we designed the M icon, the firm was hesitant to move away from their original wordmark. Created internally, we knew the firm needed a logo that would better represent their professionalism and caliber of service. With the update of the firm’s website in 2019, we also designed the Morris Law Group’s new wordmark.
