The Law Office Management Association (TLOMA): Websites

Cubicle Fugitive first developed The Law Office Management Association (TLOMA) website in 2011 and provided a minor refresh to the design in 2015. After developing the association’s website in 2011, TLOMA turned to Cubicle Fugitive to help develop a new brand positioning, identity and strategy. We performed custom surveys and interviews with members and business partners, provided strategic brand and marketing recommendations and plans, developed new Association copy and messaging, and updated their website to reflect the new brand image.

For the association’s website, we selected Sitefinity as the CMS, due to its robust and extendable platform and custom module options. We wanted something that would enable us to create a secure members portal that can house all of TLOMA’s resources and confidential materials.

The lifeblood of the association’s website is their robust jobs and events modules. Providing valuable and timely resources and new opportunities are what drives many members to the website. We developed custom modules to enable TLOMA to easily categorize everything by special interest group or appropriate categories and developed an icon and colour coding system to aid visitors in navigating to the content most relevant to their interests.

Cubicle Fugitive also worked with TLOMA to develop a sophisticated online newsletter that allows for easy toggling between articles, interlinking with authors, and an online advertising database that administrators can easily manage and maintain internally.

We created a people database for TLOMA’s board, SIG leaders, staff directories, committees, and past presidents. The association has the flexibility to include a bio or simply highlight the individual. We also developed a robust business partners directory and member portal with searchable and sortable resources.

Each year TLOMA puts on an exceptional conference together for its members. With dynamic speakers, amazing educational sessions, an interactive trade show and fun and engaging networking events, there is something for everyone. In an effort to help promote the conference and agenda, TLOMA works closely with Cubicle Fugitive to create a useful and intuitive Conference microsite.
