Epstein Cole LLP: Website
Project
Once the brand strategy process was completed, Cubicle Fugitive worked closely with Epstein Cole to translate the brand into web design. Cubicle Fugitive also performed an audit of the firm’s existing website content, as well as conducted competitor analysis and keyword research on Family Law practice areas to ensure the best site structure and recommendations for the firm’s needs.
With a clean and minimalist feel, the website puts an emphasis on the font and copy. A bold and strong font was chosen to reinforce the firm’s role in shaping family law. The homepage features a warm and airy interior photo of the firm’s Dispute Resolution Centre (DRC), the first dedicated centre of its kind. With a desire to emphasize the DRC and its resolution-centric services, a unique DRC section was created on the website, it features detailed copy about the centre, their services, and a stunning photo gallery to highlight the space.
The typography used throughout the website is a great example of how websites don’t always need to rely on photography to be interesting, the News & Events section illustrates this beautifully.
Cubicle Fugitive also rewrote the lawyer bios and developed new SEO-friendly practice area content. In addition to the new lawyer bios, the lawyers also have updated photos. Cubicle Fugitive provided choice art direction on the look and photo-editing techniques for the photography; specifically, the halo-effect around each person which extends to a rich dark blue backdrop. The client also elected to have printable lawyer bios which allow potential clients the ability to easily download and save the lawyer’s profile; alternatively, printable bios also make it simple for lawyers themselves to quickly print their bios for marketing and networking purposes.

Epstein Cole took advantage of the recommendations provided in the designs by using the layouts to their full extent.
As one of the final touches for the website, Cubicle Fugitive coded a seamless transition that appears when a user moves from one page to another. The transition features a solid black background with the Epstein Cole logo embossed on it.
