Fine and Deo: Website
Project
Fine & Deo was looking to refresh the firm’s website with a clean, contemporary, and approachable design to coincide with their new brand messaging that was garnered from the brand planning and strategy exercise. With the initial client directives, competitor analysis, and best practices, Cubicle Fugitive provided the firm with a site structure, including main and sub-navigation, and content categorization, along with specific suggestions for service titles based on keyword research to aid search engine optimization.
While working closely with the lawyers to gain intimate knowledge about the firm and their expertise in condo law, Cubicle Fugitive designed and developed a new website that improved upon the overall user experience with the latest functionality and responsiveness to mobile devices, black and white imagery for a timeless look and was built upon a Content Management System (CMS) which allows ease of website administration.
To encourage regular updates and to improve upon Search Engine Optimization (SEO), the Fine & Deo website also features a blog and resources section that allows the firm to easily add new relevant content on topics related to Condo Law.
The website includes professional lawyer biography pages that highlight each individual’s area of expertise, how they practice the law, and what a client can expect from them. Cubicle Fugitive interviewed each lawyer and drafted their individual bio for the website, as well as art directed the bio photography photoshoot. The content found in the bios is structured into tabs which easily allows a visitor to skim the details.

During the launch phase, Cubicle Fugitive performed a WCAG 2.0 audit of the website to ensure it was compliant to the Accessibility of Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Level A.
