Terry Fox Research Institute (TFRI): Website 2015
Project
Looking for a firm that had expert knowledge in Sitefinity, The Terry Fox Research Institute (TFRI) came across Cubicle Fugitive through their platinum development status. With a background in designing and developing websites for several research departments, healthcare practices, and not-for-profits, we were a perfect match for the institute.
Cubicle Fugitive worked with The Terry Fox Research Institute (TFRI) to create a mobile friendly website that adapts to a variety of screen sizes and devices while maintaining their current brand, styles and colours.
The underlying code was modified to create a mobile-friendly website using Responsive Design techniques. Responsive Design is a design framework that allows desktop websites to shrink and collapse based on the size and resolution of the device that is viewing it.
TFRI can now administer both desktop and mobile sites as one site, visitors can navigate on many smaller devices with a responsive menu, and the site is now optimized according to Google's guidelines on using responsive design for SEO and user experience.
